We recognise the importance of a broad range of skills and experience, to ensure that our Trustee Board can support our members in the most effective and appropriate way possible.
Do you have experience in fundraising, social media or a treasurer role then this might be a position for you.

Hours: Up to 6 early evening board meetings and up to 4 clinical governance meetings during the working day per year plus reading & evaluation of papers and occasional participation in internal and external events.
Closing date: Friday 28 November at 5pm
Interview dates: 9 and 15 December 2025 at Watford Peace Hospice
Salary – Voluntary role / unpaid

At Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care our unique care provides a lifeline of compassion and support to patients, carers, and families facing progressive life-limiting illness.
We are looking for Trustee applicants with health care experience at a senior management or board level who will support the Executive Board to deliver our organisational strategy and ensure we deliver the care our community needs.
If you are a confident communicator with a desire to use those skills to support a local charity, we’d love to hear from you. Your expertise, insight and judgment could make a real difference to the lives of the local people we support.
Role requirements:
- Clinical experience in community care
- Knowledge of Care Quality Commission standards
- Understanding of Safeguarding (adults and children)
- Experience in risk management and data management
- Strategic vision, leadership, business planning
- Determination and enthusiasm to contribute fully Commitment to the mission, vision and values of Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care
